Wanted: contributors, musicians and builders of musical instruments

Two pianos allow for the full range of The Kristal Tuning to emerge: one tuned in the first section of 12 tones, and the other tuned in the second range. To date no-one has heard the full range of The New Tuning, because the pianos tuned in both ranges are located 150 kilometers (90 miles) apart. On May 29, 2010 the world premiere of the complete tuning took place at the Healing Garden Festival in Zeewolde, The Netherlands. Currently we make regular use of (re-tuned) pianos in Maison Erard in Amsterdam to experiment the full spectrum of Kristal Musical Tuning.

A next step is to build a synthesizer with two keyboards. To accomplish this we are looking for enthusiasts who want to contribute to achieving this.

Music in The New Tuning will not be limited to piano performances. We are reaching out to innovative musical instrument makers and musicians to start creating and playing with The New Tuning and music.
